Kuantan is a town located at the east coast of Pahang. Known formerly as Teruntum Village as it was built around the Teruntum River. The state capital of Pahang which is the largest state in Peninsular Malaysia, Kuantan faces the South China Sea and hosts a city with various attractions.

Kuantan offers the tourists various opportunities to experience the nature of Malaysia. The East Coast of Peninsular Malaysia is famous for its white sandy beaches and renowned resorts that are all lined up. Spanning about 55 kilometers, one would definitely be spoilt for choice. The range of these resorts can be from RM20 to RM500 per night, depending on the class and facilities.

The Sultan Ahmad Shah Airport Kuantan

Sultan Ahmand Shah is the official name for the airport in Kuantan and it is named using the name of the current Sultan of Pahang. The airport is located 15 km from the capitol of Pahang called Kuantan.
